a year ago i started this blog. coincidentally i had also just handed my notice in and vowed never to return to health care. mmm....
new job tomorrow. new rota. new plans.
the delicious chocolate cake was made by jane's mum, and luckily we got to take the rest home. thus beginning the start of jane's 'birthday week'.

Good luck in your new job (it's as good as a holiday they say). The cake looks delicious and you just inspired me to go bake muffins ... again. Oh, I also baked a German Cherry Cheese Cake last weekend with huge butter scrumbles but guess what? I did not manage to take a photo of it because it was gone so quickly. LOL
