a visit from the boy

I've really enjoyed having the boy to stay-probably shouldn't sound so surprised! But the whole 26 hours went without incident and he even brought Jane and I dinner!!

We went to see Lee Evans at the Nottingham Arena.

Dan's a big fan and thought he was great. However, I got the feeling that he's still working out some his new material as a lot of the show didn't flow that well. There were still quiet a few laugh out load moments though. The ending was a bit strange. Most of his act was about 'blokes and the missus' but he ended the show with 2 rather political songs about the 'state of the world today'. All a bit incongruous.

Also took the boy down to the climbing wall which was great. He did really well for his first time and wearing falling apart trainers.
