a good week, topped of with a lovely run this morning with jane and my first bit of trail for while. so far so good but i'm still struggling food-wise. particularly difficult when over eating is positively encouraged at this time of year. my biggest problem is still snacking on rubbish. even though i'm doing enough to 'burn it off', it's not helping me get stronger or recover well.

this afternoon has mainly been about cracking nuts and a fursty ferret ;)
Food is my downfall, if I weighed what I did summer 2008 I would be so much faster! But I like my food too much!
It seems the more I exercise the more I eat and the more I eat the more I need to exercise, etc, etc, etc. Gotta be better than not exercising though!
Scooping peanut butter out of the jar with raw carrot sticks is my 'mostly healthy' snack of choice at the moment.
Do penguins count as junk food?
red bike..have some respect for our little friends!
Xmas pud, custard, mince pies, more custard, sausages, chips, beer. Um, probably not a good diet really. But it's 20cm deep in snow here and bloody freezing. And it's only until 4th Jan. Enjoy yourself and make a resolution to eat brilliantly in 2010. You'll be fine.
ummm...sugar snap peas as an alternative snack :)
thanks for all the tips. i think between everyone all the major food groups are covered. i'll blame ya'll at the january weigh-in ;)
