wk5 'the plan' round up
a bit of a bah humbug week. ice stopped play on 2 occasions and then there was the bivvy in the middle which took up 2 training days....i can never say no to a mini adventure. then i managed to fall off my bike on some black ice. i really shouldn't have gone running but it didn't seem that bad. since then i've been 'rice-ing'. the swelling has come down but there won't be any running or biking for a few more days. oh, and i've eaten far too much and appear to have lost all self control. so, i'm feeling a bit sorry for myself in terms of training. but i've got a week off work, some new books to read and a bit a of bike fettling to do....

Oh well, chill. The main thing is for your leg to heal. You won't "lose fitness" that quickly! Have a great 2010.
Don't beat up on yourself,endulging a little while down a few days won't hurt ya...enjoy it :)

Don't worry about missing a few sessions, you'll soon be back into it. The weather isn't playing for training anyway!
