ssssshhhhh.....

another long run done and filed away. 16miles of totally new white peak trails. a figure of eight through chatsworth, rolling hills and just a slight drizzle.
240/365
i'm starting to notice small changes. breathing is getting easier, legs becoming lumpier and my belly less wobbly. i've started wearing my 'thin' jeans and am really beginning to enjoy the hills again. i don't want to mention the 't' word, every time i do something happens. either i break myself, get lost in haze of booze for a few weeks or lose all motivation. lets just say that jane has been following a self penned programme for the past seven weeks. i've just happened to join her on her runs.

Great feeling - I want to get there again. Am detecting a slight reduction in wobbliness already.

Love the Peak, but usually get drawn to the "Dark" end. Magical all the year round. A few year ago went camping at Edale, 3 of us, in January. Gaz went liquid, tent turned to cardboard. Explored KS in the snow: white hares, fantastic ice shapes.

Nice one, just keep joining Jane and remembering you run because you want to, because it is invigorating and because it is uplifting. Then everything else will just work. :-)

dominic- i think winter kinder is best, much less boggy! gaz sounds dangerous but in a fun way ;) good luck with the wobble reduction, i like to think of it as a preemptive christmas attack.

ian- thanks, this morning was just proof of that but trying to remember when you're sat in the pub of an evening is slightly trickier ;)

keep up the good work...it's the breathing thing I suffer with too, nice to hear it does get easier!

lynne- thanks. it's taken a few weeks but it does feel good when you start to notice small gains.

It's nice to feel fit, not as much of a struggle. Good work, young lady!

it is, just got to remember that when it's cold and wet outside.
