Road Bike
14.24 miles 1:06
Nearly didn't make it outside today. Had a bit of a frustrating day at work and could have easily taken my frustrations out on cake and rubbish tv. However, the obsessive competitive streak won out and I had a (for me) fast and furious pedal.

Feel much better now and even had some guilt free cake!! Things are starting to crop up later this month, which is going to make this challenge logistically more difficult. I'm gonna take a leaf out of Jumbly's blog and be a bit more creative with my biking.

Yay! Four down. Today was tough for me too, I think because it was just a ride to tick the box and say I did it. I like my rides to be part of a little story then they're more fun!

i'm on a 7 day stretch at work at the moment, so every ride so far has just been a 'tick boxer'. but i do like your idea of being part of a story.

7 days in a row, ouch!

Is that a carrera I spot? I think you may have a newer version of my bike!

I just found your blog via Trio's blog and also read Jumbly's blog. I love challenges. However, I guess I'd have an unfair advantage being summer and everything. Maybe I should keep a 31/31 in mind for July or August? I'm currently also doing a Push up Challenge and one can only handle so many challenges at a time. :-)

Good luck and all the best with your challenge. I'll be back to see how you are going.

So which model is it. My winter roadie is a carrera vanquish and I love it, although I got it cheap - it was two seasons old and left looking sad for itself - it got me into road biking and I'm always amazed at how good a bike it is. It now has new wheels, thanks Jon, and its made it even better!

Push Up Challenge: Do 100 (o-n-e-h-u-n-d-r-e-d!) consecutive good form push ups. It from http://hundredpushups.com/ and great for core strength. I rolled out the challenge at work and we got really into it (well, some did and I'm struggling). I'm now up to 30-40 push ups and have some way to go to get to 100.
