holiday mood continued

I had a further attempt as speed work on Wednesday. This time at the park, so as to save £4.50 track fee. Unfortunately, I now realise that I need the discipline that the track offers. Another failed training session. I also canceled a trip to the climbing due to poor weather. Yes, I know it's inside!

My mum has been staying with us the past few days. Which has given me further excuses not to get outside and to overindulge in the sweet department. Yes, the holiday spirit lives on. We're off to London this evening to celebrate a friends birthday (wigs mandatory)...mmmm

On Sunday I'm hoping to complete my century ride and meet up with Trio in Edale. EEK!!

Did you have sticky toffee pud or creme brulee?

I reckon the century ride will be just the toe up the bum you need to get you back out of holiday mode. Enjoy London... wigs!?

I bet Trio is riding to Edale to get her century ride in too. (It's realy hilly in that region so that will be one heck of a ride!)

The station cafe at Edale was revamped last year and is now worth a visit.

The station cafe is where we are meeting and yes the plan is I get my century ride too. I've planned all the hard work for before lunch - if I'm shattered I'm getting the train home!

I might just take up your training regime. Tough decision between Creme Brulee and, wait, is this ... Sticky Toffee Pudding? Oh yum!

I will have to sit out the February Century, most likely :-(.

Wig Party? Can we see some photos. please. :-)

red bike + trio-this new cafe had better be worth the 100m round trip!

uc-it's just the kinda crazy gal i am ;) though, it did seem like we were driving in the wrong direction for a friday night!

groover-you have my permission to copy my highly regarded scientific training regime. though as a novice to it, i recommend you start with the creme brulee before moving onto the sticky toffee pudding! follow that advice and you'll be back in the saddle soon ;)
