rode to work in the dark and the wet. was busy but time passed quickly. rode home in the dark and the damp. discovered jane had been having some winter fell fun. jealous, me, never.
We walked up Harter Fell via Kentmere Pike from Sadgill on Saturday and were lucky enough not only to have snow fun but also saw a Brocken Spectre for half an hour! Never seen one before, great fun seeing ones own shadow on a cloud in the middle of a circular rainbow!!!!! I'm not joking!!!

Yes when Ali heard there was snow she was annoyed we hadn't gone out "snow hunting" I just got mud where I was. Not quite the same!

I went to Buxton snow hunting but there wasn't any there, yet it's only 10miles or so down the road!
They'll have got cold and had a rubbish time! At least that's the lie I told myself when I saw the photos....

All this snow is nice. Maybe a white Xmas? Maybe....but more like rain and mist.
