off to the sports physio this afternoon. our car is 'iced in' and it's a half mile walk to the bus stop. but after jane's success last night i've no excuses. and amazingly i didn't hammer a tac into my fingers or screw anything into my leg.
cheers guys :) didn't use the crutches in the end, more of a hindrance. and don't worry they are 'single use' so they're effectively mine now ;) i love the fact that so many people are currently putting screws in their trainers. it's brilliant.
don't want to speak too soon, but the news from physio is positive. more ultra sound next week.....

Wonder what the hospital would think about you putting tacks in their crutches?
When Ali injured herself in france the crunches came with a crampon type thing to flick down - worked well!

Hope the sports physio works a mini miracle on the fat leg.
Good luck with doc, I'd like to see their reaction to it !

It's in the news here that Scotland apparently has the same weather (and temperatures) as the north pole...
Keep warm, Jane!
uc- it really does work! they're only small screws, don't go through the sole. just make sure you put them in on a slant.
groover- wow, impressive our weather news has reached you guys! not too bad here, just lots of ice. jane's tough enough ;)
good luck. nice work on the crutch adaption too.
