rock 'n' roll

a brief trip into town this afternoon has resulted in a new tea cosy, a lovely pokadotted tea tray and china cup and saucer for me. jane believes the cup to be the wrong side of chintz and definitely an 'old lady'. she can talk, she came home with a new blanket.

maybe tomorrows trip to the hills will blow away these giffer cobwebs. either that or i'll be gasping for a nice cuppa and a slice of walnut cake.

I thought this was a chain lube post :-S

Hope you managed to get to the hills through the lovely snow!

Carys and Sylv made a snow bear this morning :-)

I keep thinking about getting a fixed wheel (fip-flop because I'll need to get used to it again slowly) bike. £200 would be ideal - where should I be looking?

uc- thanks, i now have to use her voice every time i have a cup of cha!

red- i'm erring towards more refined tea drinking these days ;)

chris- snow bear-brilliant!! yeh, snow did stop my trip to edale-was all a bit mental at 7am! road miles instead :(

ian- £200 for a wheel or a whole bike ;)

on-one is a good place to start. but for your budget it might be better to look for second hand or build it up separately. however, just seen this at evans. i'll ask my fixie friends...

£200 isn't fixed (as it were) but I was hoping for more than just a wheel.
