cheeeers!

a good news week.

jane has a new job. i got accepted into my first choice of university. this time next year we'll be nearer grit stone and peaty hills. exciting times ahead.

all topped off with a visit from vikki. she came on the pretense of singletrack but the real reason was whw planning. not that we talk about that race in this house.

only 12 days to go....

Awesome news. What are you going to study? I'm thinking about going back to uni but lacking committment. I would have to give up riding (competitively) and hence can't bring myself to enrol.

Now! How do I best ask you to tell me about something you don't talk about? Mh?

"red- thanks! uncle simon?! eek!"

A bivvy and a ride around the peaks.
Both of which were inspired by your past rides + simons picture of his bike kitted up ready to go.

I'll set off now!

Lady Alex MTB has pics of the bivvy on her flickr stream...

The bottom of my shoe fell off but thankfully both legs are stil attached.

My comments/email were simply to try and thank you for introduction to bivvying and helping me sort out the kit. Without your help this ride would never have been possible.
