'puffer training

there's a bike race in the not too distant future. i use the word 'training' very loosely but it kinda started today. slowly slippin' and sliding and exploring new trails.

cross training in the evening then consisted of helping push stuck cars up the road...not before making a snow ninja.

A snow ninja is so much more exciting than a snow angel. And deadlier. How is the knee holding up?

Isn't this weather brill?!!....knee's ok as long as I don't have to walk/run/push up any steep stuff. Can jog for an hour or so but then it hurts the next day. So sticking with the bike for now. But that still seems to agrevate itb and hamstring. One of these days will actually stretch as much as I complain ;)

Wow, winter wonderland! You guys may even get treated to a white Christmas? Love the snow ninja. Can you do a snow cyclists, too?

Have you got yourself a foam roller? Works magic with ITB & hams.

Groover- always happy to take requests

Jo- no, Jane said a rolling pin worked just as well-she might be evil. Main problem is me being blimin' lazy and not helping myself....

Great ninja! Mind you, your knee looks a bit swollen. Any MRI news? It's the most eagerly awaited image in cyberdom

A snow ninja?? That's genius!! I'm so jealous, as we have absolutely *zero* snow here in Bristol - just miserable cold!! Enjoy the outdoorsiness while the snowy glory lasts! :o)

hayfella- no news yet. given up on old gp, need to registrar with a new and start again....fortunately the cycling doesn't cause too much discomfort but i discovered today that wading through snow isn't too good for it.

uc- hahaha, sounds like a feminine hygiene product!

starfish- hola, i'll throw some snow balls on your behalf :)

Kate,I sure hope your winter training's going better than my fitness level. We got our first snow this weekend (first more-than-a-dusting snow),so we had to park the car down the hollow, walk to and from it...walking up that small hill...had me huffing and puffing, and feeling all bloated. This has been a horrid year fo rme biking-wise,sure hope '11's better,LOL!

Kool pics :)
