blimin' brilliant

first up
the colours on the hills are fantastic at the moment. the lush bright ferns, almost tower over me now. fluorescent green fields and rich purple heather, mark the highs and the lows. chocolaty peat and charcoal grit line the tops. all highlighted and super animated when the sky turns from blue to gray in an instant. waterproofs that flap wildly in the wind, need to be discarded just as quickly as they were put on.
264/365
a few extra jelly babies and an extra layer in your bag. be prepared for anything, but most of all get out there. it's blimin' brilliant right now.

The last photo looks like an old oil painting. Amazing! Love your chocolately description of colours, too... very nicely done. Enjoy those rich autumn days, Kate!

More ace photoes. I'm guessing Cave Dale top photo and the bridleway up Jaggers Clough on South side of Kinder bottom two. They're making me home-sick, wherever they are ;-D

I ran up Eccy Road, then down to Eccy Woods then past Tesco. Don't get jealous.

Brilliant pics though soggy portrait in the middle is my fave. A choco softie deserving effort... though your heroic 5am commute makes me feel you deserve the whole box.
Mucho respect.

P.s. my word verification just now was 'statero'- have you fiddled with something..?!

You are quite the photographer and love your descriptions.
I always have a couple of autumn runs that remind me it's not summer anymore with the lack of appropriate clothing.
