whooooooooooooooooooooooooop

in my parallel life we'd be near inverness now and i'd be feeling the sick excitement that comes before any race...in reality we're here in the gloomy, slushy east midlands. BUT, this evening i slipped my feet into my trainers and went for a run.

joined by jane who ensured a slow pace was kept. only 20 minutes. followed by strict instructions of ice and elevation straight after. no pain, just a slightly 'funny' calf. and i've come to the conclusion that because i've missed the first 24hr race of the year, i should probably enter the last one of the season. hello new 'old life'.

...now, if i could just finish this ucas form...

Yes!!!! Welcome back. So what is the last 24 hour of the year then?

Please don't get carried away with your return to running, I think I'm on the cusp of injury at the minute with my extra running due to the weather. I have a rule of not running more than 3 times in a week, not consecutively which I've broken and am probably about to pay for. Take it easy with the ultimate goal in mind.

Okay, lecture over....back to the UCAS form!
